Atherosclerosis is a major contributor to cardiovascular disease.1 Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) can result from high levels of cholesterol – specifically low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C).1

The good news? High LDL-C has been treatable for decades2. Statins are the medications most often recommended by treatment guidelines for the management of blood cholesterol.1

The bad news? Sometimes statins alone are not enough to optimize LDL-C.3

Unmet needs

There remains room to improve the use of both statin and non-statin LDL-C lowering therapies to help reduce cardiovascular risk.5

Talk to your healthcare provider about treatment options that may be right for you.
